The MS-1– an abbreviation for "Small Escort", was the first Soviet tank of its own design. These tanks were produced between 1928 and 1931. There were 4 production series in total, the total number of machines produced was more than 900 units. At the time of its appearance, the MS-1 tank was a fairly advanced development - in a number of parameters it surpassed foreign light tanks that existed at the turn of the 20-30s.
