The Soviet ZiL-131 all-terrain four-wheel drive cargo truck was created at the Likhachev Moscow Automobile Plant in the 1960s and was produced until 2002. In total, almost one million trucks (998,429 units) were produced. The machine was largely unified with the ZiL-130, which simplified maintenance and repair. The ZiL-31 itself combined good maneuverability, reliability, driver comfort and moderate fuel consumption on the march. The car was supplied to the Soviet army and the national economy. It was actively used by various services, including the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The ZiL-131 was also exported to dozens of countries around the world.
