The Soviet 120-mm mortar designed 1938 by Shavyrin was due to its effectivity adopted also by the Germany Army. Firing range - from 450-5700 m, rate of fire - 15 rounds per minute, elevation angle - 45-80 degrees, weight - 282 kg. Used high-explosive fragmentation, smoke, incendiary and illumination shells.
