The maiden flight of this strange airplane with swept wings took place in 1997. Due to its unusual shape, the "Berkut (Royal Eagle) is one of the aerodynamically most complex aircraft of the world with a low radar signature. It is the first Russian jet with fully automatic control of all flight systems.
